To honor Terri Hutter’s legacy and recognize those among the Food Shuttle staff who continue to embody her drive and spirit, the Chef Terri Award was created. The inaugural award was presented at the September 2021 All Staff Meeting to Community Engagement Manager Elizabeth Rodgers.

Allison Itin Joins Inter-Faith Food Shuttle Board of Directors
Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is pleased to announce that Allison Itin has joined their Board of Directors. Allison, an employment lawyer at Red Hat, says that she has developed a real passion for and interest in identifying ways to resolve hunger in our community, and Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is a clear leader in this effort in our area.

Now, thanks to individual and corporate donors that support the Food Shuttle, we have entered a new era of flexibility that will allow cooking classes to be held just about anywhere through the purchase of a Charlie Cart.

New Crops Popping Up at the Food Shuttle Farm
Brand new crops are popping up at the Food Shuttle Farm this year include poblano and cayenne peppers, tomatillos, and chayote squash. These crops are grown specifically for the Latinx community served through Food Shuttle distribution outlets.
