DESCRIPTION:Learn to build a raised-bed garden! \nHands-on skills training – Learn how to: \n\nFully assemble a Garden Box Kit from start to finish\nSafely use a power drill\nTransport materials and tools with proper ergonomics to avoid injury\nCreate a level working space wherever you build\nOrient boards to prevent negative effects from warpage\n\nPractical education – Learn how to: \n\nChoose a location and position for your beds to get the most out of your garden\nPrepare the site to ensure beds are level and accessible\nSource soil from local bulk suppliers or landscape centers\n\nTake-Home Garden Box Kits (optional) – Materials to build your own raised garden bed \n\nEach kit includes pre-cut #2 prime\, pressure-treated\, ground-contact lumber and all necessary hardware to assemble a 4 ft × 8 ft × 20 in raised garden bed\nIncludes take-home assembly instructions that bring you step by step through the build process to reinforce the skills you gain during the workshop\nEach kit is $100 and can be paid in full upfront or with a $20 deposit at registration and $80 remaining balance at the time of the workshop.\nFor an additonal $60\, we will also provide you with nutrient rich soil for your box.\n\n			\n				Register
