As part of the Food Recovery and Distribution team, the Retail Donor Program is crucial in partnering non-profit agencies with established retail donors for food sourcing.

By doing so, our agency partners are matched with specific retail donors based on the needs of those they serve. Whether it is a shelter or a food pantry, we can determine which retail partners would be best suited for that particular agency. Additionally, the agency builds a trusted relationship with the donor so that, when necessary, increased pick up arrangements can be made to meet food sourcing needs.

By partnering with these and many other agencies in the Wake, Durham, Chatham, Orange counties, we are able to provide food for the participants in these agency programs so that they have one less worry and can focus on recovery and self-sufficiency.
