Celebrating Our Volunteers: The Heart of Inter-Faith Food Shuttle

At Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, we believe in more than just feeding our neighbors. We strive to teach self-sufficiency, grow healthy foods, and cultivate innovative approaches to end hunger in our communities. None of this would be possible without the dedication and passion of our incredible volunteers. Today, we want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every volunteer who has lent a helping hand, a smile, and valuable time to our mission.

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization, and their impact resonates far beyond the tasks they undertake. From delivering summer meals to nurturing our learning gardens, each act of kindness and support brings us closer to achieving our mission.

Here are some inspiring comments from our volunteers:

“I really enjoyed volunteering at the Camden Street Garden in honor of Earth Day. It's a beautiful space! I felt that our work made a difference and as an avid gardener, I am grateful that I learned new things about gardening in our area. I would definitely like to volunteer with you again!”

“Our team had so much fun volunteering - thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!”

“It was a wonderful experience. It was a fun and productive day, and I had a great Driver (Dennis) who taught me everything I needed to know and walked me through the whole process. I look forward to volunteering again. Thank you!”

Your dedication inspires us daily, but our journey continues. We rely on your ongoing support to continue our mission. Currently, we are urgently seeking volunteers for Summer Meals at Juniper Level Baptist Church, White Oak Missionary Baptist Church, and Fairmont United Methodist Church.

Whether you can spare a morning or an afternoon, your participation makes a significant impact. To sign up or learn more about these opportunities, visit our volunteer website for details: https://foodshuttle.galaxydigital.com/
