CVS Health / Aetna Strengthens School Choice Pantries

by | Jan 14, 2026 | Donor Recognition

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle extends its sincere appreciation to CVS Health / Aetna for awarding a generous grant in support of our School Choice Pantry program. This funding helps provide nutritious food to an estimated 125 families, representing approximately 312 individuals.

For years, several CVS Health / Aetna have been steadfast supporters of Inter-Faith Food Shuttle. Their commitment extends beyond financial contributions and includes direct program support, volunteer engagement opportunities for team members, and general operating support through Feeding America grants. This comprehensive partnership has played a vital role in advancing our mission to provide access to nutritious food with dignity and care.

Beginning in 2023, CVS Health / Aetna have directed this funding to support multiple School Choice Pantry sites, enabling schools to secure shelf stable groceries and fresh produce. These pantries are essential resources that help address food insecurity, support student success, and strengthen the resilience of school communities.

In the past year alone, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle’s School Choice Pantries served 33,254 visitors and distributed 201,169 pounds of nutritious food. This impact reflects the power of sustained partnerships and a shared commitment to meeting the needs of children and families.

As food insecurity continues to rise and schools face increasing challenges, this support is both timely and meaningful. Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is deeply grateful for the leadership and generosity of CVS Health / Aetna, and we are proud to work alongside them in service of our communities.

Thank you to CVS Health / Aetna for their enduring commitment to nourishing our neighbors and helping build healthier, more resilient communities.
