Last weekend, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle hosted two special events at our Farm: Evening at the Farm on Friday, October 10, and Food Shuttle Fest on Saturday, October 11. Both events celebrated the Food Shuttle mission, fostered a strong sense of community, and offered fun for all ages—all true to Food Shuttle style.
Evening at the Farm marked the return of the Food Shuttle gala for the first time in five years. Guests were welcomed into a rustic, farm-chic atmosphere filled with community spirit and a celebration of the Food Shuttle’s impact. We were especially grateful to have our founders, Jill Staton Bullard and Maxine Solomon, in attendance for this special evening. We dined, learned, and celebrated together. We are so thankful to everyone who made the inaugural Evening at the Farm a huge success.
Food Shuttle Fest returned for its second year, and we had a blast welcoming so many community members for a day of family-friendly, fall-themed fun. Neighbors enjoyed activities like Food Shuttle bingo, a cake walk, pumpkin painting, farm tours, and more. Additionally, guests were treated to a sampling of fall flavors at our food truck, the Spinning Plate. It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the festivities—thank you for making Food Shuttle Fest so special!
