Stunning aerial feats, mind-boggling contortions, and jaw-dropping juggling acts accompany your favorite festive music...and SOUP! It's the North Carolina Symphony "Cirque de Noel" Soup-to-Go Food Drive to benefit BackPack Buddies, coming up Thanksgiving weekend.
Performances to this stunning holiday show will be held Wednesday, November 27 at 3 p.m.; Friday, November 29 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, November 30 at 3 p.m. on the Woolner Stage at the Meymandi Concert Hall in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh.
Concert goers are invited to bring “soup-to-go” to these performances to support the BackPack Buddies program that provides food for the weekend for children who might otherwise have to go without. As a show of thanks, the Symphony will give donors a coupon to save $20 on a January concert.
Donations can also be dropped off at the North Carolina Symphony state headquarters, 3700 Glenwood Avenue, Suite 130, in Raleigh from November 1 through 27. Offices are open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
