North Carolina FC will host a food drive to benefit Inter-Faith Food Shuttle prior to the start of its Oct. 5 match against New York Red Bulls II, presented by Aetna.
Fans will be able to make donations outside the Northeast gate at Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park, located nearby the Coastal Credit Union Box Office. The first 300 fans to donate at least five cans of food will receive a free ticket to the match.
Donations will begin to be taken at 5:30 p.m. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the game starts at 7:00 p.m.

Purchase a wristband to sample from 28 of the top Whole Hog Barbecue cooks in the state competing to be named the 2019 Whole Hog State Champion. Sample as many as you can and select which one you think deserves to be the 2019 People’s Choice Award winner, all while supporting great causes.
Wristbands are $10 in advance or $15 day-of, and includes all-you-can eat 'cue and coleslaw. Proceeds will be donated to Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and IBMA Bluegrass Trust Fund.
