The actual Garden Gallop 5K Race has been cancelled.

We invite community members to support Inter-Faith Food Shuttle by participating virtually by running a 5K on their own. Submit your time to thefoodark.contact@gmail.com and be entered to win a prize from Fleet Feet, Milton's Pizza or Schucker's Oyster Bar.

Registrants are welcome to pick up your race packet and t-shirt from Inter-Faith Food Shuttle between Wednesday, March 18th and Friday, March 20th from 8am-4pm. For more information, please contact Amy Lo, thefoodark.contact@gmail.com.

This year the Virtual Food Shuttle Garden Gallop 5K will benefit the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle’s Urban Agriculture Education Initiative including programs which teach sustainable food production and nutritious meal preparation, promote the establishment of gardens to increase healthy food access and develop sustainable community food system models. 

The funds raised will go towards programs such as Sprout Scouts, a skills-based after-school program that teaches students about cooking, gardening, and nutrition education in a hands-on, fun and engaging way, and Seed to Supper, a five-week beginners gardening course, teaching individuals how to grow their own fruits and vegetables, build backyard gardens, and sustain their harvest.
