Caring for Your Winter Garden

Join us at the Camden Street Learning Garden for an engaging workshop, “Caring for Your Winter Garden.” Participants will learn essential techniques for maintaining a healthy garden through the colder months. Topics will include understanding average first and last frost dates, the cold hardiness of various crops, using row covers and mulching, and other strategies to protect your garden during winter. This hands-on workshop is suitable for gardeners of all levels. While the workshop is part of a series, it is not necessary to have attended previous sessions to participate.

What to Bring and Wear:

• Snacks and water bottles
• Bug spray, sunscreen, and hats
• Dress appropriately for the weather, and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes
• Notepads and pens/pencils for taking notes

Parking: Parking is available behind Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 805 E Davie St, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Additional Information:
Participants should be aware that bees and fire ants are present in the garden, so those with allergies should bring appropriate medication and inform staff.
