This hands-on session is perfect for gardeners of all levels, offering tips on identifying crop maturity, proper harvesting techniques, and food-safe storage practices to keep your produce fresh. Bring snacks, water, and weather-appropriate attire, as we’ll be outdoors learning from the garden!

Parking: Parking is available in the lot behind Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 805 E Davie St, Raleigh, NC 27601
Things to Bring and Wear:
• Snacks and water bottles
• Bug spray and sunscreen
• Hats, pens/pencils, and notepads
• Dress for the weather and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes (mosquitoes are common, so sleeves and bug spray are recommended)
Note on Allergies: Bees and fire ants are present in the garden. If you have allergies, please bring appropriate medication and inform a staff member about your condition.
