Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is proud to partner with Walmart and Sam’s Club for the 12th annual Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign, taking place from March 1-March 31, 2025. Over the last twelve years, the campaign has helped generate more than $206 million for Feeding America partner food banks across the country, including the Food Shuttle. Thanks to their support, we can ensure that our neighbors are fed all across our service area.

It’s easy for Walmart customers and Sam’s Club members to participate in the Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign. Donations can be made at the register or when checking out online. With each eligible product purchased, Walmart and Sam’s Club will donate to support Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and surrounding partner food banks through Feeding America.

Throughout this month, we have had the privilege of working with two Walmart stores in our service area to promote this campaign: store 2836 in Fuquay-Varina and store 4250 in Morrisville. Thanks to their partnership, we were able to connect with associates and leaders who are making a difference by ensuring more food ends up in the hands of our neighbors rather than in landfills. With their support and the support of Walmart and Sam’s Club stores across our service area, we were able to recover over 950,000 pounds of food in the first half of this fiscal year alone.
