For Giving Tuesday this year, our Food Shuttle twist of “Gratitude Tuesday” came back in an exciting way. We saw the return of Ron’s Road Trip with some extra special Food Shuttle guests, highlighting the many staff members, volunteers, funders, and community partners that make our mission a reality every single day.
This year, we set an ambitious goal of raising $65,000 in just one day. We knew it would be tough, but our community showed up, helping us not only reach our goal—but exceed it.
Our organization has seen many unforeseen challenges this year. From recent policy shifts to decreased funding opportunities, uncertain requirements for food assistance and an evolving landscape beyond our control, we knew this moment would be crucial. The Food Shuttle community stepped up, and we couldn’t be more grateful for your support.
Thanks to you, we can enter the holiday season fully focused on serving as many neighbors as possible. Together, we’ve proven the impact we can make when we stand fully united behind our shared vision: building a hunger-free community.
