Learning Alongside UWGT

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is honored to join United Way of the Greater Triangle’s (UWGT) 2025–2026 Learning Labs, a forward-thinking initiative built on collaboration and shared learning. UWGT’s model recognizes that challenges like food access, housing, healthcare, and youth development are deeply connected, and that real progress happens when organizations work together to strengthen the entire ecosystem of support.

Our partnership in the Learning Labs gives us the chance to learn alongside peer organizations, deepen our understanding of the broader food access landscape, and explore new strategies that help families move toward long-term stability. It’s an opportunity to step back, look at the system as a whole, and identify where our work can have the greatest impact.

The support we receive through this initiative will help us stabilize and strengthen our operations in meaningful ways, including:

  • Building organizational capacity so we can serve more families, more effectively
  • Gaining access to data and insights that help us understand community needs more clearly
  • Expanding collaboration with partners who share our commitment to food security

We are deeply grateful for UWGT’s leadership and their belief in the power of collective action. Their investment helps ensure that families across the Triangle have access to the food and resources they need to thrive. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient community for all.
