Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is grateful for the continued support of the John Deere Foundation, whose longstanding partnership strengthens our ability to serve families across the Triangle. This general operating grant reflects their ongoing commitment to helping communities overcome today’s challenges while fully investing in our mission for a better tomorrow.
John Deere’s higher purpose “We run so life can leap forward” comes to life through the Foundation’s decade-long pledge to invest in the places where John Deere families live, work, and learn. Their multiyear commitment to the Feeding America network, now in its third year, ensures that food banks have the stability and the support required to meet the day-to-day realities families face from unexpected hardships to the ongoing challenges of making ends meet.
General operating funding is one of the most impactful forms of support a nonprofit can receive. For the Food Shuttle, it strengthens the backbone of our work: keeping our trucks on the road, supporting our staff and volunteers, and ensuring that fresh, healthy food continues reaching children, seniors, and families. This kind of flexible investment allows us to adapt quickly as needs change and to plan confidently for the future.
We are deeply thankful for the John Deere Foundation’s ongoing partnership and their belief in the importance of strong, thriving communities. Their support helps us move our mission forward and ensures that together, we can build a future where every neighbor has the nourishment and opportunity they deserve.
