The Operation Frontline team has a few volunteer opportunities still open for classes beginning in January! Volunteering with our OFL classes is a perfect way for folks who enjoy cooking to help teach low-income folks how to cook healthy food on a tight budget. What can you expect as an OFL volunteer? A current volunteer chef instructor, Sarah O'Neill, shared her advice and experience on a previous blog post. We still need to fill the following volunteer positions for 2010 winter classes:
- Threshold Club adults(center for mentally ill), Durham – Tuesdays 1:30-3:30pm Feb 2-Mar 9
- Chef, Nutritionist, Class Manager, Assistant, Food Runner (from the Food Shuttle to the site)
- SEEDS teens, Durham – Mondays 5-7pm Dates TBD
- Chef, Nutritionist, Class Manager, Assistant, Food Runner (from the Food Shuttle to the site)
- Step Up Ministries kids, Raleigh – Tuesdays 6-8pm Dates TBD

- Reality Ministries in Durham, Friday afternoons (before 4pm), Jan 15-Feb 19th

Please let Matt (OperationFrontline@foodshuttle.org) know if you can help with any of these classes! You will need to be trained if you have not yet done a training.
