The season of holiday cooking and baking is upon us, and Harris Teeter has come up with an easy way for shoppers to purchase their groceries and make a donation every time they go through the checkout line. It’s time for Harvest Feast, a November & December event during which Harris Teeter invites shoppers to Round Up their transaction to the nearest whole dollar. If shoppers want to donate more than their “round up,” that’s okay, too. All proceeds from this campaign, which will run from October 30 through December 31, will benefit Feeding American partner food banks. Proceeds from Triangle area stores will go directly to Inter-Faith Food Shuttle to help in the fight against hunger.
Harris Teeter’s Round Up campaigns have seen tremendous success. In 2019, they have consistently raised over $1 million through each campaign held in support of various “Community Cares” programs.
