Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is pleased to present our 2021-2022 Gratitude Report, “A Year of Impact.” Distributed on Wednesday, October 19, the Report catalogs our performance over the past fiscal year and showcases how we have served our neighbors in our efforts to address hunger relief in our community.
“This has been a year of listening to and learning from our partners and those we serve, and we intend to continue doing so in the coming year,” promise L. Ron Pringle, President and CEO, and Kurt Heusner, Board Chair, in the opening lines of the letter of welcome for the Report.
The following pages give a full reporting of our programs and how they have performed in pursuit of our mission to feed, teach, grow, and cultivate a hunger free community in central North Carolina. An accounting of our financial audit and roster of our supporters, including those in our Giving Communities, closes out the Report.
Ron and Kurt’s letter closes with this commitment: “We remain vigilant, hopeful, and determined as we collaborate strategically to dismantle the root causes of hunger. When food insecurity no longer exists, we create food justice – and thereby achieve our vision to end hunger in our community. Please accept our gratitude for your essential role in helping us to deliver our mission each day as a ‘community taking care of community’.”
