Our Spring Match challenge, made possible by generous funders, including SOLV Energy and the Mead Family Foundation, exceeded the $105,000 goal, raising an additional $70,000 to erase hunger!
Your donations support our community with the groceries, hot meals, backpacks of nutritious weekend foods they need. As Food Shuttle CEO Ron Pringle shares in his opening letter, SNAP benefits have recently been suspended for many, creating a challenging gap of need for food banks and pantries to cover.
This summer, we have additional pressures to provide, due to the limited number of food pantries available to families as compared to prior years. The Food Shuttle is working to expand the capacity of our existing partners to meet this need and support the capacity building of new partners to the network. The ability to pivot to needs while still growing the system of response is only possible through your support. Thank you!
