Geer Street Learning Garden is hosting a four-part Introduction to Spring and Summer Vegetable Gardening workshop series. In our first three workshops, participants learned how to design, plant, and harvest their Spring garden. In this workshop, "Summer Garden Maintenance," you'll learn the next steps - how to keep your garden productive and healthy in the summertime!
This workshop will include an in-garden tour of what’s in season, information about pruning, trellising, and mulching techniques, and a comprehensive guide to watering crops in the hot North Carolina summer. While the workshops build on each other, you do not need to have attended any previous classes to register for others.
