Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is grateful to be selected for support through the FY26 Community Response Fund, made possible by the Morgan Stanley Foundation’s continued partnership with Feeding America. This fund was created to help food banks respond quickly to the urgent and evolving challenges of hunger across the country—challenges that are only intensifying.
The Community Response Fund was designed to address the realities food banks face every day: rising costs, federal food assistance fluctuates, increased demand, and the unique needs of each community. Feeding America works closely with its network to ensure resources reach the places where they can make the greatest impact, whether by sourcing more food, strengthening advocacy, or providing direct support to get meals to neighbors who need them most.
The Morgan Stanley Foundation has been a longstanding partner in this work, supporting hunger-relief efforts that help children and families access nutritious food. Their commitment to strengthening community-based solutions continues to make a meaningful difference nationwide.
For the Food Shuttle, this flexible funding helps us stay responsive as needs shift across the Triangle. It allows us to stabilize our operations, adapt quickly, and ensure that families, seniors, and children continue to receive the fresh, healthy food they rely on. This support strengthens our mission in real time, helping us meet urgent needs while planning long-term solutions.
