We are honored to be selected as a recipient of the FY25 Sheetz For the Kidz Grant in support of our efforts to nourish children and families facing food insecurity.
This award will help us strengthen and expand hunger relief programming across key counties in our service area, including initiatives like our BackPack Buddies, School Choice Pantries, and other feeding programs.
Since its founding in 1992 by two Sheetz district managers, Sheetz For the Kidz has been rooted in a mission to bring hope, joy, and tangible support to children. From humble beginnings, the organization has grown into a powerful force for good. To further deepen its impact, Sheetz For the Kidz began partnering with Feeding America in 2019 to support child hunger programs across six states. Last year, the charity helped provide over 1.7 million meals through local food banks and agencies, generosity that directly benefits our work and the children we serve.
We’re proud to be part of this growing movement and deeply grateful for the investment from Sheetz For the Kidz and Feeding America. Their support strengthens futures, uplifts families, and brings us one step closer to a community where no child goes hungry.
Now more than ever, partnerships like this are essential. As overall support for food banks shifts, we remain committed to addressing childhood hunger and ensuring every child has access to the food they need to thrive.
