Support For Spring Match Challenge Raises Over $233,000

Thanks to our generous community of supporters, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle raised over $233,000 during our recent Spring Match Challenge. Gifts totaling over $178,000 were received from 917 donors between April 1 and May 31, and match funding from Citrix and Mead Family Foundation was added to total $233,343.

The Food Shuttle understands that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to ending hunger. That’s why we create unique solutions to fit the unique needs of families, children, and seniors facing hunger throughout central North Carolina. Our multi-dimensional programming serves immediate needs while also providing long-term solutions that address the root causes of hunger and poverty. Together with our community of supporters, the Food Shuttle is strengthening families by teaching new ways to grow and cook healthy foods, educating about nutrition, and providing invaluable assistance to move toward long-term self-sufficiency.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the many generous donors in our community who, through your support, help to feed our neighbors, teach self-sufficiency, grow healthy food, and cultivate innovative approaches to end hunger. Together, we create a hunger free community.
