Inter-Faith Food Shuttle Receives $100,000 Grant from Principal® Foundation
With an eye on the Food Shuttle’s continuing work toward Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, the Principal Foundation issued an invitation to the Food Shuttle to apply for the national grant award monies. Supporting a wide range of initiatives to advance financial security, the Principal Foundation has confirmed their backing for the Food Shuttle’s varied and distinctive hunger relief programming with the issuance of the $100,000 grant.

Farmers' Produce Initiative: An Idea Whose Time Has Come
Every once in a while, an idea comes along that is so simple in concept and makes so much sense that you wonder why things haven’t been running that way all along. That’s what happened with the produce initiative at Inter-Faith Food Shuttle. The idea was to buy produce at wholesale prices from limited-resourced local farmers and connect those farmers to partner agencies in their area who are distributing to neighbors in need.
