Their philanthropic Love, Tito’s Block to Block program, reconnects neighborhoods and creates community gardens and farms throughout the United States. Our hearts are in full bloom knowing that our Camden Street Garden will be the next beneficiary of Block to Block, allowing neighbors with mobility challenges to access our many activities more easily.

Temple Beth Or Food Drive Collects 4,816 lbs.

This was the 28th year the Temple Beth Or Food Drive has taken place. Once the truck was returned to the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle warehouse the day after the drive, and the food was weighed, the total came to an impressive 4,816 pounds of non-perishable food items to be distributed through Food Shuttle programs.

Ashley Christensen "Chefs Dinner to End Child Hunger" Raises Over $130,000

An enthusiastic, sold-out crowd of friends and followers of local chef and restauranteur Ashley Christensen gathered at Poole’s Diner on Sunday evening for an occasion of fine food, good company, and social change. By evening’s end, the dinner prepared by award-winning chefs and auction of culinary experiences raised over $130,000 to fight childhood hunger.

On Friday, September 20, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle helped unload a pallet of food at the school pantry on North Carolina Central University campus. For Food Shuttle staff, this was the launch of their 28th School Pantry, and the third on a college campus.
