Grace Church Raleigh is a regular stop on The Spinning Plate’s schedule, where Food Truck Manager Josh Maple and Production Cook Dajai Johnson serve up free hot meals prepared fresh for the community. The connection between The Spinning Plate—an initiative of Inter-Faith Food Shuttle—and Grace Church Raleigh is a natural one since the partnership between the Food Shuttle and Grace Church goes back many years.
The Food Shuttle Helps Prepare Families For an Active Storm Season
This summer, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle will ensure families are better prepared to deal with the impact of what could be an active storm season through the distribution of 1,000 Emergency Preparedness Kits. On June 18, volunteers from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC and Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation packed emergency kits that will be distributed alongside meals served by The Spinning Plate food truck this summer.
